The 8 Ball raced all over the midwest, competing at Fairmont, Minnesota on
Friday nights & Jackson, Minnesota Saturday nights. The 8 Ball also showed up
at county fairs in July & August. In those early days when driver's helmets did not
have face shields, Leo could be seen hot lapping his black and yellow modified
with a big cigar in his mouth. He transported his race car in an old school bus
refit to make room for his tires and tools and the 8 Ball in the back.
