Free PDF BenchTool Design
My own design, and it won't win any awards for genius, but it doesn't need to.

It simply works, and it works simply. The upright pegs can be adjusted to where you need them,
and the shims or wedges lock the keel in place, straightening any warping in the keel that usually exists.
Another pair of long pegs gives a guide to true up the bulkheads for gluing.

The raised bar makes the jig capable of handling ships where the bulkheads go all the way
(or even a little beyond as some do) the bottom of the keel.

Once the skeleton is complete, it will continue to keep the keel straight during the planking stage,
and the pegs and wedges can be quickly moved or adjusted to wherever you need them.

This Keelworks can handle ships of up to 30" finished length.

Jig Dimensions: 15 1/2" long x 4" wide x 3/4" thick

*** Keelbar is raised 1/2" & is 1/8" wide ***
