This is an open airframe kit- normally hidden under layers of canvas,
we leave the laser-cut wooden frames uncovered to show the intricate construction.
It would maybe be interesting to cover one side of the plane cut-away style, because
some of the paint schemes and graphics in 1917 were art in themselves.
Featuring birch fuselage bulkheads, wing ribs and pilot’s seat,
basswood fuselage stringers and wing rib caps. The cockpit is reproduced in authentic detail, complete with tachometer, pressure gauge and compass. An authentic 180 HP Mercedes-Benz engine, built from over 100 highly detailed Britannia metal parts, is a marvel of miniature design
with carburetor, oil pump, spark plugs and valve springs.

detectors and being held in your Customs Office for a few days.
